This year 12 local nominees have been recognised for their achievements and community spirit in the annual Australia Day Awards.

The Award winners will be announced at the Australia Day Ceremony at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden on Sunday, January 26, where 60 new Australians from 19 countries will also receive their Australian Citizenship. The ceremonies will take place from 9am and ALL ARE WELCOME.

 Free refreshments will be available and local Girl Guides will be providing musical entertainment.
