No it’s not the latest boy band; it’s a new, free monthly get-together starting on Friday, February 16, at the Harry Bailey Memorial Library for people wanting to get the most out of their iPad.

“iPads and Biscuits is all about bringing people together in a very informal, friendly way to offer some expert advice where needed, but really it’s aimed at bringing users together to encourage them to share their own experiences and tips in using iPads,” said Catherine Turner, Council’s Library, Museum and Gallery Operations and Programs Coordinator.

“It’s perfect for people who are already confident with their iPad, but want to explore further. New users would also be very welcome.

“Each session will focus on a topic such as Facebook for your iPad, Videocalling on iPad , or Entertainment on your iPad. The very first one is all about emailing via your iPad.

“People who don’t own their own device are very welcome to come along and borrow one of ours – and we’ll also supply the tea and biscuits.”

iPads and Biscuits sessions will be held on the third Friday of every month at the Harry Bailey Memorial Library in Duke Street from February 16. They will run from 10am until 12noon.

Call the library on 6648 4900, drop in or go to https://ipadsbiscuits_email.eventbrite.com.au for more information or to book a spot.
