Now is the time to make your voice heard on the direction of a new Coffs Harbour Rural Lands Strategy through a series of workshops on October 31 and November 1.
Last year, Council undertook the first stage of the development of the strategy when it progressed the Coffs Harbour Rural Lands Strategy Phase 1 – Issues and Options Paper.
The strategy process now moves into the second phase which will examine the range of issues and options identified during phase 1 of the strategy and develop a targeted, prioritised series of policy directions to inform the actions for the final Rural Lands Strategy document.
The new Rural Lands Strategy, when and if adopted by Council, will provide a holistic framework for the balanced planning and management of rural land in the Coffs Harbour area.
