Australian International Cricketer Lauren Cheatle launched the Ashes Series ticket sales with the Mayor and members of local junior cricket team The Hoggies.
Cricket Australia has announced that tickets to the highly anticipated Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes Series at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in Coffs Harbour are now on sale.
The Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes Series in October will feature some of the world’s most talented players with bat and ball and fans can expect outstanding individual and team performances throughout what promises to be a scintillating series.
While the series begins with a one-day international match in Brisbane, it will be followed by two One Day Internationals between the number one ranked Australians and the ICC Women’s World Cup Champions, England, at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Thursday October 26 and Sunday October 29. This will be the second international series played by the Australian Women’s Cricket Team at the Stadium following the two fixtures hosted last November against South Africa.
Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for concessions, while kids under 15 get in for free. In an added boost, two dollars from each adult and concession ticket will be donated directly back to the grassroots cricket community, with the Coffs Harbour District Junior Cricket Association, Nambucca Bellingen Junior Cricket Association, and Clarence River Junior Cricket Association to receive a share of the funds.
Fans around the country will be able to follow all the action of the Women’s Ashes via a range of broadcast options. The Nine Network will be showing all ODI and T20 matches, while ABC Radio will also be providing coverage and commentary. In addition, all matches will be live-streamed on Cricket Australia’s CA Live platform.
“Coffs Harbour is the only Australian regional destination for this international series, which is a massive endorsement for the Stadium, the city and grassroots cricket in the region,” said Coffs Harbour Mayor, Councillor Denise Knight. “Having the Ashes series in Coffs Harbour is very exciting and I’d urge everyone to show their support for this historic international event by coming along to the matches and cheering them on.”
