Council, as Corporate Manager of the Coffs Coast State Park Trust, recently agreed to a proposal to put out an Expression of Interest for the use of the former Deep Sea Fishing Club facility on a short-term basis of up to three years. Through the Expression of Interest process the Trust seeks to identify potential short term lessees which provide best value to the Trust and the community and which ensures that the facility is being appropriately utilised.
In the meantime, the Trust will commence the process of drafting an Expression of Interest for the long-term use and/or development of the site. The long-term use of the land will take into consideration opportunities for community use in line with the current Plan of Management.
Expressions of interest for the three-year lease are open until 3:30pm Tuesday 18th July, 2017. Interested parties, including community groups, are welcome to submit a proposal and can find out more by going to Councils E-Tendering Portal, www.tenderlink.com/coffsharbour.
