
The biggest startup event on the Mid North Coast is coming to Coffs Harbour on Saturday 17 June 2017.
Startup Coffs Coast is a free event to be held at C.ex Coffs from 9am – 5pm and is designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs and innovators from around the Coffs Coast.
Finalists of the Telstra Business Centre Coffs Harbour Startup Coffs Coast Pitch Competition will be pitching their innovative business solution on the day and vying for the chance to win the $33,000 in prize money and support they need to make it happen.
This year’s competition will see seven finalists selected to battle it out, with each having only 5 minutes to convince the judges of their winning business idea. Finalists include Goblin Surf, The Pacific Collective, Formulater, Fibre Network Choices, Afterliife.com, Stitch Films and Keepsake App.
Startup Coffs Coast attendees will discover new businesses in Startup Alley, see the latest in technology and innovation in the Innovation Lab and get ideas and insights from some of the leading Startup’s in our region.

Startup Ally showcases some of the Coffs Coast newest business ventures and gives attendees the opportunity to share their feedback with these business owners to help make them the next local success story.
A new addition to the event this year, the Innovation Lab is an exciting space for businesses to show off new technology and innovations. The idea is to inspire local entrepreneurs to future greatness, new careers or spark new applications for existing technology”, he said.
Marc Nager from American startup, Telluride Venture Accelerator will talk about his mission to help create a more diversified and sustainable economy in a place that affords him the quality of life only found in a place like Telluride, USA. Marc has worked with grassroots and political leaders from around the world as well as executives at many FT500 companies around innovation and entrepreneurship.
He takes the stage with a dynamic line-up of speakers including start-ups who have transitioned into successful companies, as well as investors, local and national entrepreneurs who get what being a startup in a regional area is about, plus government agencies dedicated to helping start-ups succeed.
