It is fantastic to once again welcome some of the most talented drivers in the world to the Coffs Coast for the Kennards Hire Rally Australia FIA World Rally Championships.
I’m sure that locals and visitors alike will enjoy watching the skill and daring these men and women display during the final round of this championship event.
This event gives us an opportunity to showcase our beautiful Coffs Coast to the whole world.
It is great to see so many local businesses really getting behind and embracing the opportunities that come with bringing world class events to our City.
Congratulations to Canberra artist Kerry Johns for taking out this year’s $20,000 Eutick Memorial Still Life Award (EMSLA) at the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery.
Well done also to Guy Gilmore who was awarded the Mike Blewitt Coffs Coast Local Artist Prize and Guy Warren who was awarded the Coffs Harbour City Council Staff Choice Award.
Shop Local for Christmas
As the countdown to Christmas gets underway make an effort to support our local businesses. These businesses are collectively the largest employers in our community and contribute greatly to the lifestyle that we all enjoy on the beautiful Coffs Coast.
What better Christmas gift than something produced by one of our talented local photographers, painters, seamstresses, potters, sculptors or craftspeople.
When entertaining and planning your Christmas dinner why not use our award winning local produce available from any number of our local butchers, bakers, grocers, or straight from the producers and farmers at many of our wonderful local markets.
Take your visitors out to our local attractions, cafes and restaurants and show off all the reasons why we love living here.
Let’s all shop local this Christmas and help our local businesses thrive.
